These are absolutely lovely. The pinecone reminds me of an Native legend that we taught at a Girl Scout event called the wishing stick ( I think). The storyline was how to get your wishes to the sky and gods that reside there. Everything failed until wishes were written down and tied to a stick, then placed in the fire. The wishes rose in the smoke. It was a beautiful story that captured the attention and hearts of our girls.

Jesus says, 'judge not least ye be judged'. He also said 'love thy enemy, as you love yourself'. I was raised in church, and attended twice on Sunday and also for Wednesday night prayer meeting. I learned that while there are many things in the Bible, including Saul contacting the 'witch' of endor, the most important words are those in red, because they are the words of Christ himself. Blessed be, and may your yuletide be merry.
