Rens, you never fail to bring us new and exciting ideas and videos. What is so interesting is we learn about more advanced effects, new filters, and the use of the channels. Love your new presentation software and you look and sound great. Oh, and my screen always looks glitchy after my third rum and coke.

6:37 If anyone is having trouble getting all the channels to move, make sure that in your Channels panel, all the switch icons are Editable for each channel (they are next to the Eye for each channel). I was playing with those settings and accidentally turned them off.

Is there any way to make the scanlines without actually using the original picture? Like, I'm trying to reproduce the effect of the Halftone in Photoshop and I only need a fully white layer to achieve the scanlines and this doesn't change the overall colour of the rest of the piece because it's a solid colour. I'm trying to apply the Halftone to white layers and even black layers but the scanlines doesn't appear in Affinity Photo 🤔
@IAMRENSI

I think you get the desired result when you create a grey fill layer, and then a Halftone Live Filter (screen: Line)! Hope this helps :)

6:08 Do you know how to do this on Windows? I noticed that for me holding Alt creates a minus sign, but Ctrl doesn't make a plus sign. Is there a keybind in Affinity I need to add in settings to pull this off?
