You did it again, just beautiful, and such clear instructions, thank you. I have wider hips so the top would be too tight, so I found a solution: I work each row with a bigger crochet hook from the waist down, and a smaller hook from the waist up.( I work each row using 2 different size hooks.) I'll let you know how it looks when I am done.

Hello. I'm pretty new to crochet and this is the first real project I've chosen to do. The video is pretty easy to follow along with so that's awesome! I am having an issue though. My whole project seems to be slanting downward to the right. I have the correct number of stitches on both sides (55 for the body and 15 for the straps). I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I dont think I'm adding or dropping stitches at the turning chain. Any ideas?

Great pattern and tutorial, but came out to short, will add some single crochets a the bottom. And when you show how to clean up the arm holes you top is still inside out, which was very confusing. I did it exactly like in the video, but of course it didn't look nice. One need to do the cleanings on the outside.

I am crocheting this beautiful tank top right now and have gotten a bit stuck. For the front side, how do you get the same number of rows on each side of the middle row, between the shoulder portions? The first shoulder portion ends with a downward row and the second shoulder portion should start with an upward row. That makes the number differ by one row. I would really appreciate some clarification on this, since I really like this pattern and am planning on making several more tank tops like this one, in different colours :) On a side note, I am making single crochet instead of slip stiches.

I am new to crochet and need clarification. Following the written pattern for a size small, the front panel is 55 rows and the back is 39 rows making my front larger than the back. What am I missing?

It's a racer back tank so the back would be smaller than the front. 😊

Hi! This is an older video so i'm not 100% sure, but the rough estimate of yarn should be within the first minute of the video. 😊

I’m still new. How do I make this bigger bc I’m usually a L with crochet. All crochet sizing never fits properly even tho I measure. I watch all your videos but I really am too chicken. Want to try this one tho!!

Hi and welcome! 💕 Our patterns/tutorials give chain and row counts for a size small as a reference and helpful tips on where to measure for other sizes/fits to ensure you get your perfect fit, so it's a "measure along" technique. 😊 All of those tips are within the tutorial with visuals as well! If you have any questions about it i'm more than happy to answer them for you as well. 😊❤️

Hello, very nice 😍 A question... How many grams or how many yards of material did you use?
@TCDDIY

Thank you! I'd say this took about 450 yards of yarn. 😊

Just subscribed. Was looking for a cute summer top. Isn’t it going to be warm with the Caron? Also I e tried making tops before and they never fit like this. They stretch out and get loose. I’m skinny so it’s not that I’m stretching g it out

Thanks for subscribing!!! We appreciate it! 😊💕 The Caron yarn was fine for me, but this pattern is adaptable for any yarn type you choose! That happens to me sometimes and I believe it has to do with tension. If it's a little on the relaxed side it may not shrink back as much. Hope this helps!

I have a question for the v neck I have 14 rows (the part where it goes in the middle Of body) so where we do the slip stitch row right before the increase hdc do we count that slip stitch row or do I count the 14 rows after that slip stitch row
@TCDDIY
2 жыл бұрын
Just count the rows on the other side of the middle row, so 14 for you. 😊
