You making me feel like I can do this. I always wanted to learn how to bleach, tone, and pluck a wig. I don't own a wig but I'm about to buy one and try. Your wig came out 💣 love it!!!!

+tidyce singfield you can just take your time!! That is key. I would suggest even spreading the process out over a few days. Like bleaching one day, toning the next, tweezing the next, etc

Neutralizing shampoo isn't needed to stop the process of the bleach. Once water hits it the process stops. Great Job btw. Looks so natural

cassandra cassanova maybe you should pay attention a little more. Im also one. She did not use a perm she used bleaching powder and developer & like i said before its not needed. Once water hits the mixture it stop the oxidation process.

No ma'am I'm a cosmetologist as well and water does not FULLY STOP the process .. it just slows it down a lot . You very much so will always need neutralizing shampoo when using chemicals

This is perfect. I recented bleached the knots last week. I hate the brassy orange/blonde color on the lace. Im little lighter than you, do you think Wella T18 is good color? did you rinse in warm or cold color? lastly, did you use silver shampoo to rinse it out the wella toner as well? Thank you, Im learning and just made my first lace closure wig!
@AmbreRenee
7 жыл бұрын
You can use the silver shampoo but from what Ive found is that it only keeps the brassiness away temporarily. Where as with the toner its permanent. The t18 should work fine for you I think .

Why doesn't the bleach and toner go thru and hit the hair? I don't see how when you brush it on and wash it off, why isn't the hair lightened too? Makes me nervous to try this. And also, why don't the wig companies just make these with lighter lace?
