same thing here. i usually just cut the ends, and today i barely bought a simple punch for it. i think i may try the Vcut as well

I don't smoke cigars often enough to invest in a cutter. Usually the shop I go to gives me free matches (not the cardboard kind) and I just use those to punch the cap.

I was always told that the V cut was the least desirable of the cutting options. Having never tried it, watching this video has made me curious enough to try it.

Very nice video. I am somewhat newer to Cigars, but have smoked some Macanudos and CAO. I really like a mild, creamy cigar. I hear alot of good things about Davidoff. What specific Davidoff cigar being a good representation of Davidoff should I start with?

@JDKempt0n More times than not it's referred to as a cats eye cutter. However the technical name is a v cut cutter.

I usually just let it build up as much as it wants to, but usually after an inch it doesn't take much movement for it to drop off...

Yeah i have only used guillotine too... kind of think that with the v cut you might not get proper draw through the entire cigar... but I dunno, i suppose you have to experience it...

@sethro1 i recently purchased one (the most inexpensive one i could find) for £5, they had coloured cutters, metal ones, and other fancy ones but they were quite pricey.
