Nice short and straightforward video with lots of information. However, I learned this size of miniset can only produce yam seedlings suitable for only planting and not the big size for consumption? Please confirm.

Notable nodes is observed after 2 wks and in 3 wks under a good condition, visible development is seen, like many root crops, yam is usually harvested in 9 months.

Your yam setts with matches box size too small. You can't get bigger tuber despite that the heaps are bigger. Increase your yam setts or seeds sizes for better results!
