@@Bogdonamousa lot of pressure and patience plus always a bigger risk imo bc an actual barber has better leverage and eyes than mirrors on yourself. I practiced last year and a little bit over the quarantine but now I’ve been cutting my hair the last 6 months straight. Once a week every Saturday. Still takes just under 2 hours and you gotta keep your workspace clean. I enjoy it though bc it’s like problem solving and somewhat an art. Plus all the money saved, and almost an equal amount of time per cut. Just takes practice, learning, experience being able to tell yourself what you want it to look like

This is the second video I’ve watched of yours and love it Been learning and cutting my own hair (fade) ever since lockdown and hadn’t been to a barber since. I also cut my son’s hair (modern mullet) and I love doing it. But I must say, for an amateur…cutting my own hair is very hard, there’s so many the limiting factors….. with visibility, lighting and limb articulation. You could catch all the videos but doing your own head just turns out different. The main issue I’ve found is those fold out mirrors, it’s hard to look at the back dead-on/dead centre…. Can easily make the back fade a little asymmetrical. I can only counter that by using a hand held mirror and stepping away to the main bathroom mirror and checking
