I have the same temper. This guy isn’t getting angry for no reason people are pushing him to that point. I go through the same thing. I feel like I have a big red target on my back and people won’t just leave me alone. And when I stand up for myself then I’m wrong for doing so.

Powerful show- with people clearly looking to make their lives better- I found myself connecting with Steven on a number of levels- and relating to what had happened to him. I will say , that at the end of the program - where people are hugging, seeing the Professional Therapist NOT hug Steven -and NOT talking with him - made me very angry with her. To me, it said, " I don't value what you have gone through, I don't value your coming here and I don't want to touch you. It said VOLUMES about this Mental Health Professional.

Mine is clumsiness, I was a clumsy person growing up and now I'm fed up with being clumsy because I can't be trusted nor can I trust myself and now I feel I get explosive when I do the smallest mistake, but it has only to do strictly with dropping things or spilling things😢😢😢😢😢

I know what you are going through. I have severe PTSD from my past trauma when I was growing up. My sister and my brother went through. I'm 54 years old now. I've been in 4 different mental hospitals in 4 years. My last one was back in January this past year. I now something was wrong so I called my Dr and he put me back in the mental hospital. They diagnosed me with intermittent explosive disorder. I was just like you. Back in May of 2022 I trashed a motel room up. My choice was either jail or the mental hospital. I have the potential to really hurt someone. When I was in the mental hospital the 4th time. They put me on medication for it. My psychiatrist has had to increase my medication I take for it 3 times since January of this past year. I am divorced I have been for a long time. I realize know why my wife divorced me she was tired of the hell I put her through. I'm not telling you what to do. But sounds like to me you should be in a mental hospital. They do group therapy. The first time I was in I hated it. I stayed in the room and stared at the 4;walls and the ceiling. I even told the psychiatrist I was fucked in the head. I'm not telling you what to do. Trust me I've been there I know what you are going through. I don't want you to end up in jail for a long time. And you don't want to end your marriage end up with a divorced like me. I don't date or anything I live by myself. I hardly go out. When I do I still blow up just like you do. I come off a nice guy. But I'm not I really have the potential to hurt someone but I don't. Yes I still blow up but I'm getting better. Either you can take my advice or you can tell me to go to hell. You have the choice either get help or end up in jail for a long time, or your wife could very well leave you, wich I know you don't want that. You can contact me on here if you want to? Trust me man I know what you are going through, your not alone in this. Right now I'm at the Dr I'm seeing my psychiatrist wich I have to see every month because of the medication he puts me on. Since January of this year he's had to increase my medication for it 3 different times. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime. I wish we could meet up and chat in person. I have free time I can't work because I'm on disability, not because of that I have Parkinson's disease. So I'm home most of the time. Please get some help. If you want to vent reach out to me instead of your wife. You can chat with me anytime you want to. But please get some mental help before you hurt someone.

There has to be a reason for explosive anger. I noticed my grandpa, my dad and myself have anger issues. My grandfather is deceased now though but i remember him having fits. We never hurt someone physically. Well i was a teen when i hurt someone but i am truly sorry for that. Im not like that anymore. But back to the fits. My grandpa would get mad at inanimate objects and cuss at them and yell. Me too ill cuss under my breath and yell. My dad too... I think it runs in the family

I react really angrily and aggressively to being ostracized and I get thoughts of harming others but I never ever plan to act on those thoughts 💭. Unfortunately others won’t know that and might take drastic action and press charges.

I can relate to Steven. People with anger is troublesome but many were misunderstood as well. A lot are not proud of their anger outburst and they remember each regret for being out of place. They can't forgive themselves almost for they are highly critical of themselves but they do not know how to get out from it.

I even get mad if I can't get my shoe on right, or something falls on the floor or if I drop something. Small things like this drive me crazy to where I want to just get violent.
