This sermon made my Top five of all time. I love Pastor Mike. He never, ever shies away from what we need to hear.

Great devotion, Pastor Mike. I am glad that I watched this one to the end, and hopefully everyone does because, even though shame ... temporarily, 'Anyone who believes in Jesus, will never be put to shame.' (Romans 10:11)

Fantastic sermon on shame. It can be a tough thing to remember our shame should be temporary when we are often constantly reminded of what we’ve done. This world is temporary, but our place in Heaven is eternal. And in Heaven, we will feel no shame.

Shame is a product of sin. No sin No shame, In Christ you're free from shame bcos your sins are dealt with and forgiveness. People should stop projecting shame and stop carrying burden of shame for people God has not shamed. H

I don’t think shame is the issue, because if the same people who refuse to talk about certain topics in one circle, can go and talk maliciously about someone else in another circle. I went to a church that that happened, and the topics was everything that was shameful in one turn, but then they could talk so openly about it when they believe that no other Christian is listening. It is very complicated and needs to be addressed, but just make sure that the address is to the right people, because it can be used as really hurtful weapon that can destroy a person too. Since shame, though temporary can be made permanent if you share with the wrong people, even in a church family or small group.

i think you hit the nail on the head and that is defined in the word gossip. info. from personal/private talks is confidential and should not be shared unless legally necessary. groups/church info. is what i did and not what someone else did.
