Thank you chef. I’ve never tried cutting the breast off like that. Have a whole cooked chicken in the frig. Gonna try today. And I agree with a comment below - teach us how you make broth or soup with the remaining carcass. Sam you are great at videoing. Ohio love to you. & family.

Chef AlB, do you throw out the remains of the deboned chicken? Or do you make chicken stock? If you make stock, please do a video of making stock. Let us know if you freeze the stock and for how long. Then make a soup with your chicken stock.

Honestly came across this video and seemed interesting cause I like to critique. So don’t hate. Just a few tips. Let the chicken rest for at least 15-20 min. It shouldn’t be steaming. That’ll keep the chicken a lot more moist after you carve it. Sharpen your knife and let the knife do the work. Don’t push down. That’ll give a lot cleaner cuts and the end result would be a lot more presentable. But still an amazing looking chicken!

Great video on carving a chicken. Maybe change the title to "how to carve a cooked chicken". To debone would be too remove the chicken from the bones - which is actually what I am wanting to do today.

That is NOT deboning! I want to know how to get the meat only and avoid the tiny bones I end up with in my chicken soup. If there's a "trick" to do this, that would be great.

the title Debone is not accurate, to me debone is removing the meat from the bones,you just cut the chicken in pieces. Oxford dictionary also defines debone as removing meat from bones
