Looks great. As soon as you started painting I thought to myself, 'she's going to put some gold somewhere!' Its a while since I did any decoupage but have you tried carefully tearing the excess off instead of cutting it? This will diffuse the edge and maybe make it easier to hide than a cut edge. I have used paper napkins in the past and tearing definitely makes a better blend.

It is beautiful! Love decoupage on furniture! The secret to no air bubbles and wrinkle free application is to use a small craft iron over dry decoupage liquid. So first put your decoupage liquid directly on the wood surface without the paper. Let that solution dry. Next put the picture on the dried area with parchment paper over top. Then take an iron over the parchment and picture. The heat will activate the glue but it won't be soppy. It takes just as much time and ensures a totally smooth finish.

I personally never gonna use black chalkpaint again. I messed up many projects because of the results after waxing it,( yes did mix in some black paint) blotchiness allover. I tried mixing the black chalkpaint with polyurethane as well to make my own all in one paint. I finished my previous furnitureprojects so effortlessy by using Fusion mineral paint, so easy. Have to try the new Annie Sloan silk, as well as the Dixiebelle silk, but that,s expensive here in The Netherlands. 👋

Obecnie mam zamiar przemalować swoje holenderskie meble w różnych wzorach i mam dylemat dlatego piszę tutaj do Ciebie z prośbą i pytaniem, czy jeśli bym przesłała Ci zdjęcia tych mebli to mogłabyś podpowiedzieć mi jakich pastelowych kolorów byś użyła. Zamierzam malować je farbami kredowymi i zastosować dequpage , przecierki lub szablony. Czy możesz podać mi swój mail i czy mogę na niego przesłać zdjęcia? Moje imię Teresa. Pozdrawiam
