I've just binge watched all of your videos after discovering you on Instagram! I have fine wavy/curly hair. You mentioned about over moisturing, and wondered if you do any protein treatments. If so, what do you use and how often? I find Its hard to tell if I need moisture or protein. x

Hello! I wish you could discuss hairfall and how to prevent it. Your hair is so nice! My hair is fine too but I noticed that I'm shedding a lot of hair. 😕

I deep condition once a week, as I have dry hair. I've never done the STC at this stage though, so will give it a go next week. Another fab informative video, thank you 😊 x

I might try it before shampooing. Hadn't thought of that. Means not having multiple showers. I have a mild disability so that just requires way too much energy. Just ordered the hask hemp sample sachet 🤞 Haha I washed my hair with the Manukau Honey masque today, just as conditioner.

Hey my curly hair youtube friend 😃 "pre-poo" is the best title for that haha. I'm totally not offended. 😝 Is that slang from the UK or just you? Just wanted you to know that I actually bought the Shea DC (the based on your recommendation from your favorites video. I think that's the one. The lady who helped me find it (another curly)also said it was perfect for our hair. I love the way it feels, it does the job. I have yet to get to a point of much noticeability, but it certainly feels and seems to look a bit healthier. I have very dry hair, so I'll be doing it more often for now. Hope you're well girl! Happy curls!

Hi sorry for the late post, I only found your channel a while ago! I have very fine wavy type 2b/2c hair and want to try this method of deep conditioning. I just want to ask, if you clarify do you then deep condition AFTER or just regular conditioner? And also how often do you clarify? Thanks so much!🌻

Lovely video! Always admire your hair and the colour so much 💕😊💕 Anyway.. I always put olive oil and honey on my hair every week before shampooing. Is it considered deep conditioning or oil treatment? I’m a bit confused on these phrases in CGM

What is the difference between a deep conditioner and a normal conditioner? Can I just use a regular conditioner for 15 minutes to deep condition? Or a deep conditioner for about 3 minutes for normal conditioning?
@ChlorineHeart
4 жыл бұрын
Deep conditioners are formulated to penetrate deeper into your hair strand so while you could probably use it for a shorter period of time to replace a regular conditioner it might weigh down your hair. I regularly let my standard conditioner sit in my hair for 15 minutes and it definitely does not condition as deeply as a deep conditioner will

@@ChlorineHeart Thank you for this answer! I wonder if a deep conditioner would be too much for my hair 🤔 I would say it's healthy and relatively moisturised (by now, took some time 😄) and if I keep my regular conditioner in for too long my hair gets a bit uncomfortably soft and doesn't hold the curl as well as usually. Might be because I have fine hair? idk
@patb2582

@@ChlorineHeart that's actually not true. It's marketing. A deep conditoner has the same ingredients as a regular conditioner. It's just formulated thicker and usually has more oils. While I wouldn't recommend deep conditioning with a regular cheap conditioner like VO5, you can defs deep condition with high quality conditioners such as Joico, Nexus, shea moisture, cantu etc.. you can also add oils into it yourself if you have very dry hair

Is a leave In conditioner the same thing as a deep conditioner?
@hanzcurls
4 жыл бұрын
meg A leave in is different because most deep conditioners aren’t designed to be left in for a long period of time (with the exception of the Boucleme one mentioned).
