This is quite possibly the simplest, most straight forward, and helpful reminder I've ever watched. Reason, put videos out like this more and you will be winning over a lot more producers.

one of the best reason studios tips and tricks video !!! - please reason - you gotta take a step up with the workflow, more basic key commands like the ability to control snap resolution, a key command for export will be a nice one also.... the ability to copy 1 3rd party insert effect to another track with same settings.. and many many many more.... please... almost 2024, and we old users feel we left behind.

This was eye opening. Thank You 🙏🏾 Question for Reason Studio: Can you guys do a thorough tutorial video on using the favorites list and browser in general. I have so many sounds scattered all over multiple hard drives. And seeing how he created these favorites lists in this video really opened my eyes to a way of really streamlining my sound selection process (this is the part of my production where I leak energy and waste valuable time 😤). So please, a thorough tutorial on favorites lists and using the browser is what I would love from Santa this year. I been a good boy 🎅 Thank You 🙏🏾 😁

Move all unsorted sample founders onto one SSD and use your computers file manager. There is no better file manager then Windows or Mac file manager, you can search for anything in multiple places on one drive, search for example Snare and all snare on that drive regardless of location will show up. You select on the Snare samples and drag that into a folder called Snare, do the same for Kick, Hi hats, and Drum loops, then put all those in a folder called drums. Then do it again but this time do it for Melodies, Vox, One shots then put those in a folder called samples. Put the Drums folder and the samples folder into a folder called My Audio. Load up Reason search for My Audio and the contained folder select any you like a move to Favourites folder.

My reason work flow is 1 of 2 things. 1 open up a new project randomly drag sounds in and randomly record midi until I hear something I like that turns into a full song. 2 Open up a old project that sounded good, delete all the midi and make something new out of the old sounds. It dont really get much more complex then that for Me.

Yes, Organization is a clear factor in success. I have spoken over and over about how lack of organization is often the clear killer when I get to see inside struggling productions. Many of my Mix Walkthrough videos talk of this. Interestingly the most common response from the person is that they are not working in a mess! They think the mess is creativity, when in reality a lack of ability to see their project in overview trips them in the details :-)

How the heck do I change the overall interface size? My eyes are going to fall out. I have a monitor with a QHD resolution. If I change the resolution of Windows or the monitor itself to FHD, Reason will change to FHD as well, but the problem is that all my other programs have to use FHD resolution. I have no problem using the QHD interface of other programs, and I can set the UI size within the program, but I can't find it in Reason. It hurts my eyes. Someone please help me. I'm fascinated by 'reason' and I'm just getting started, but all the text and pictures in 'reason' are so small that I feel like lava coming out of my eyes.
