Great job! Probably the best and most inclusive explanation of hall effect sensors and physical take apart of a motor that I have seen on KZitem. I have watched plenty of videos about 35 in all. I also have an associates degree in electrical and could not teach as well as you. I would recommend your video to all who want to attempt to repair their ebikes. These are only now becoming very popular in the U.S. probably due in at least part to the high increase in gas prices. Again thanks for an excellent video.

OMG seriously you are AWESOME, ....right now i was to affraight to open.... and i was looking exactoly for a video like this. also the testing with putting the cables together is great ! Your Video takes the fear of opening away, becourse you show step by step what you do !!! I have only to replace the small teeth-wheeels cause a few broke out, but know i know how to do THANK YOU I own 2 geared enginges and on direct drive one. for the later i always have to move a little backward before the throttle works, thats somehow strange?!, ....that was my intention searching ...and finding your video. .... cause i guessed somethings wrong with the hall sensors!??? It is super strange to roll back before i can use the engine, ....but after releasing the throotle i cant use it again, ...i have to stop ....and start again by rolling backwards a few centimeters!??? so no acceleration while driving, after release once. ...never had this before!? Do you had this problem before???

Excellent vid, thank you! what kind of grease do you use? worried some petroleum based greases could affect the nylon gears... Also, wise to note any wear on the shafts or worn bearings could cause rubbing and damage to hall sensors, no? have you seen this? I did a Gio Italia hall sensor and one bearing was a little sloppier than new, i was wondering if that caused the hall sensor to rub on something. What else causes hall sensors to fail? solid state should be super rare but yet it is common

Thanks, very educating! I have a "stupid" question. I hit on the video for the thumbnail showing the rear wheel. I was looking for days for this type of bike with this kickstand. After 2 years taken apart, I put my old beloved bike together. I have to change a mosfet, but the major problem the KICKSTAND. It keeps falling off and I feel stupid. It is the same as yours and I fixed as yours. The only difference that you have a large hole to place it on, mine is an open U shape. Q: Do you have any spring under the srew? Can you suggest some solution? On the piece, where the screw tighten, there is deep cut, seems for stabilization. An inch long and maybe a quarter wide, but in the box I didn't find anything to fit there, nor in my memories. Should I use double screw? There was one in the box fitting the size. I know it stupid, but it is great discomfort without a kickstand.😊

are hall sensors problems always noisy? And do they ever fix themselves so it only happens intermittently? these are my main question and hoping you have the experience to answer that. Much appreciation !!!! My electric scooter with dual brushless motors (silent. 1. I think it is getting worse. I think it more happens when it is warm on a warmer day (after the first ride if i take that ride in cool morning then it does not happen until the day warms up on the second ride). 2. It only happens in dual mode, not in single mode. on dual mode it is asking for full current to both wheels. 3. The motors quite when I reach full throttle. They cut out on the top of the throttle If I describe the thumb throttle like half an analog clock where 12 is not pressing throttle and 6 is full throttle. the bike only works from not pressing (12) "0" to 5 once i reach near 4:30 or 5 oclock on the dial, its totally dead and no noise. just cuts off all power and Im coasting without power. So it does not work on the most depressed part of the throttle. but also sometimes if I gun it from start to full throttle it will die sooner like 3pm on the dial. When I say cut off, Both motors cut off. 4. Once it cuts off even when releasing the throttle the motor will not reengage unless I first back all the way down to 0 . 5. and one more thing. I have an extra thumb speed controller with speedometer and all settings working. so i replaced that and that did not solve the problem. Any thoughts on this. what should i be looking for. Im pretty techy and will take apart and fix most anything myself. Im wondering either this relates to the front motor, or the front controller, or the controllers communicating together, or something is cutting off when scooter is trying to pull full power. A battery short or something in the BMS? (since there are two controllers in the nanrobot one for each hub wheel and they are wired to communicate together). Could it be the hall sensors in the front motor?

Hello, this video is interesting, and may have some advice on my ebike. I have an Ebikeling Waterproof 1200w Rear Hub motor kit 48v. My problem is that my rear hub is not working? I have tried different things. There is power on my LCD, but there are no error codes? I have tried it with x2 different controllers, x2 different throttles, and have full power on my battery? there is enought charge on the battery, and I know that the current is flowing. I hear a click on my rear hub once powerd on, but not sure how come it is not working? Rear hub is brand new, never been exposed to any outside elements? Does the gauge of the wire play a role in this? Becasue my battery is a Dorado type battery that sinks into the frame. The gauge that came with the battery connector is how ever thicker than the one that is attached to my waterproof controller. It goes from an Xt60connector into a Anderson connector. Do you think that its the wires or maybe hall sensor issue? Your advice would be much appreciated thank you!
