Unfortunately, pulling the fuses would cause the same effect you’re already experiencing. No cruise control or anything like that. It may be worth checking the fuses just to make sure none are blown though. If they all look good then unfortunately you’ll have to keep limping it the way you are now with manual brake lever until you can get in to the dealer for them to look at it.

Some newer vehicles use the ABS/Stabliity control system for brake force distribution as well. Do you know if this truck has brake force proportioning through the hydraulics, or through the ABS system?
@TonyTheTruckGuy
3 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure if these trucks have actual brake force distribution like Jeep’s do. On mine if I try to floor it in the snow with traction on, it just limited the power. But I already have limited slip in the rear so I’m not sure if a non LSD truck would try to apply brake force to the spinning wheel or not.

The ABS and brake lights and everything are still on the dash? That’s odd I’ve done this a few times and haven’t had that problem. Was your ignition on or was the truck running when you pulled the fuse? Best to do it when truck is off but if you have the fuse in and you’ve tried restarting the truck a few times, then I would disconnect the battery for a few minutes. I’m not sure why yours is doing that.
