Question brother, my gauge cracked on the mini gs. I want to replace it, can I just unscrew it and place another one? Or is there extra steps involved. Also do you need a specific size for the gauge ?

You can replace it easily. I believe the gauge is the same size as a tank gauge. You just need to put Teflon tape on the threads of the new gauge when you screw it on. ANSgear has a video showing how the replacing a tank gauge. The process is the exact same as replacing the regulator gauge

What if I forgot to line up the holes when putting the core back in? How do I get it out without having the hole there to push it back out?

You have to drop the core in carefully so the holes line up, otherwise you won't be able to reinstall the on/off relay and the regulator won't air up. If you put the core in incorrectly, just shake it out of the regulator and retry lining it up correctly.

Do any of the orings inside the reg need to be lubricated?

I'm not sure if it's necessary, but I did lubricate all the o-rings inside the regulator just in case
