My quick connect wouldn't connect either and you confirmed my next move to go straight to the post. I thought I had the wrong part or something. Thanks for the help!

If your heater isnt warm. Flush heater core by reversing the hoses down by radiator. Also I put Alumaseal stop leak in all my cars radiator. Has fixed many successfully and water pumps too. Ford chev and dodge all put sealer pellets in there engines at the factory.

It just needed some silicon lubricant and just push it in. It’s a little hard with the angles and room available. But it does click in.

I like the fine mechanics comment. Most fine mechanics also rid the potential future problem aswell theres an aluminum version of these available on Amazon as a better solution to plastic. But honestly they should just go strait to core no quick connect for safety sake as plastic gets brittle I believe they only use them as the suburban and Tahoe have rear heat using a splitter quick connect and GM didnt want to spend the extra money to design a slightly different heater hose routing.

The plastic fitting is so dumb especially with the rear heater attachments. Would you happen to have the aluminum version model number?

Where do you find the white things to use to slide the old one off? Once that's off I'm going with the normal hose clamps. Btw spit is a versatile lubricant. Thanks for the video!

Do yourself a favor and do away with these quick release fittings altogether just like the hose on the right. There is no benefit to having them on your vehicle, they will only wear out later. Install standard T's and or clamp hoses directly without quick release fittings.
