Careful, those mini figs are notorious for cracking over time in the legs if firmly fastened onto two studs at the feet. There is another very similar way to display each own using a piece that actually has no studs on it at all (it’s a modified 1x2 tile (which, due to the lack of studs, cannot harm/cause stress fractures on your most treasured collectibles, many of which are already years old), but unlike a regular 1x2 tile, it’s got a single, very narrow vertical “tile” that sits exactly in the midpoint of the 1x2 surface area, allowing them to fit between the small gap in each of the mini-figs legs, giving it a modicum of stability while being 100% stress free on your mini figs. I’ve seen too many videos of Adult Lego fans posting pics/videos showing how many plates/tiles/mini-figure torsos & legs that they discovered in horror had shattered or cracked totally on their own, with ever increasing frequency, especially with some of the most recent batches/years in LEGO’s I would to hate to see you lose money/treasured/rare/retired minifig assortment that you’ve got over then LEGO corporation trying to produce more “green”/“eco friendly” types of plastic. to date I’ve never seen a recent new color introduced that wasn’t far weaker/more translucent when held over a Flashlight, or more prone to severe damage & shattering, rather than bending slightly under a good degree of stress & than showing classic “stress marks” in specific places. Whereas ~10+ years ago, going all the way back to the late 70s/early80s, Lego used to be known for quality above all else, and even as a reckless kid , they could take severe showing almost l no signs of stress warping/coloring the damaged parts closer to white on the color spectrum, & they felt damn near indestructible Then I compare that to my Disney castle, new out of sealed box, that fell off the table I was working on because one of the legs broke and all my Lego went sliding downward to the floor 🤦♂️ It was actually a pretty “gentle” landing as far dropping a large section of pieces you’re working on goes…I was fine with rebuilding it, up until I realized in horror it needed *14* new plates/specialty pieces adorning the exterior walls of the lower section of the castle which, literally shattered the moment they hit the wooden floor - 2 of which were those fairly new & misleadingly heavy/reinforced on the underside (greyish blue pieces) that stand 1 brick tall, are very long, (8-12studs, I forget), with a tapered width 4x wide at the “base”, but only 2 studs wide on its tapered end, with a smooth top surface that is gradually angled down from 1 brick in height to just 1 and plate in height in the narrow end. I still love LEGO as much a ever but I’m sad to see such a company with a “sterling reputation” for quality/consistency be heading in the wrong direction for handful of years now of unquestionably weaker pieces deposing on their color, as well as the minifigs cracking when the torso and legs are totally flush with the seam, creating minimal stress, but sadly apparently enough at this point to ruin an amazing /valued collectible commodity

What a fine analysis on how not to crack your Lego minifigs. I have an Idea. Don't build them, bag'n tag in a polystyrene box, and they'll last longer than you will.

I recommend using a 1x2x1 plate with central divider on the rarest figures with expensive legs. That can prevent the heels from cracking on a rare figure, like say Cloud City Boba or the Light-Up Saber figs.

Ummm I would switch on the Lego plate’s with something else because those bricks tend to put stress on the Lego figures feet and could rune the fig for ever. So I’d suggest looking up some videos on how to put little to no stress on Lego figures on display.

Yeah no. If you want to display expensive figures the last thing you wanna do is put them on studs. Their feet are going to crack at the bottom. There's a piece found in a lot of star wars cockpits that slots in between the legs and holds the figure without any studs.
