Wow, looks great! And I was pleased that whilst the video didn't make it look simple, it also didn't look hard. Particulary for how professional the final product looks

Thanks! The build is simple once the planning has been through through - working out how to manage the angles of the backrest was the trickiest bit.

Nice work, turned out looking really good. I was going to suggest pocket hole screws, but the filler turned out looking really good with the contrast. Keep up the great work as the goal is to continue to inspire others to DIY and build something awesome!

Good idea for rocket hole screws, although I didn't have much time and wanted to minimise drilling and dust on-site, so this was the simplest solution.

Awesome job! Love the cabinet idea...better space use and saves so much money and time to just buy those cabinets instead of make them.

Agreed. It saves a lot of time and money buying the sheets and cutting them down to make the cabinets.

Hi, I used Tasmanian oak panels and dowel from my local hardware store. The varnish is clear, marine-grade called Monocel Gold.

Great job...treated lumber is for outdoor use only, it is cancerous for indoor use because of the chemicals it emits into the closed environment.

I live in bushland Australia where there is a very real danger of termites. It's essential to use treated timber for framing here. It is also a very open room all year round.

As long as it does not come in direct contact with food or bare skin, it’s fine to use inside. The chemicals used to treat it are not airborne.

That hasn't been true of treated lumber for 20 or so years. It can be used inside.
