so i did bad question with c# it's possible to inject dll in c#?¿? or only c++
@abearddon2170

this code specifically is for C, but if you were to use pinvokes to port it to C# it should still work
@jaredearl3562

Why do you change it to a .c file? It seems to run just the same with .cpp
@abearddon2170
7 жыл бұрын
Because it's more C like than C++ like, it doesn't use any of the features of C++ even though it would compile fine using the C++ compiler.

Thanks for the reply, I noticed that it doesn't succeed when injecting into PowerShell or cmd, and if you attempt to inject into the same program twice without closing it. Do you have a recommendation for continued reading on things like how to get diagnostic information on the injection? Thanks again

at every step of the way, you can look at the status codes returned by the api calls for diagnostics

@@farttoilet9490 I'm a full stack developer, and being in I.T. is definitely worth it. Big salaries and if you're skilled it's easy work, it almost feels like cheating at life. Don't expect to feel fulfilled doing the work though, it is just a job at the end of the day.

Why do you use Goto's and not simply return if something fails
@abearddon2170

If some resource needs to be freed I can just do it at the end after the ExitPoint label and not have to keep track of the lifetime of objects, I simply free EVERYTHING at the end if it's not null. So the routine isn't littered with if statements that all free a bunch of objects.
