At some point of your career you will be asked to do a French Roll or French Twist. Unless you want to end up queuing outside the bedroom door of The College Friend That has mastered the Sorcery of the French Roll at 5.30 am in the morning before you have to go to class (as her appointments book is full of desperate dancers that have not yet passed the exam of magic self French Rolling ), or do it a million times the night before and once one is.. decent, try to sleep like a Geisha and waking up with stiff neck and restless, I suggest you give at go at watching this video and try it at home before it's too late!
It is fairly simple once you found the coordination and what's best for your type of hair. Yes, you will have bad hair days , your arms will get sore from having them up in the air arguing with the fluffs and pins! Don't give up! you can win the battle! French Rolls give a beautiful line to head and neck, it looks professional and in some ways makes you feel like you are ready for the show. Hair Buns (or Chignons) can be somehow young looking and old school. you don't want to look too much like a student, especially if you are going to an audition. Make sure you test in class.
If your are still practising the French Rolling spell, you might want to check that is solid and doesn't fall off during turns or jumps. You might Blind someone with all those pins flying around! Believe me, unfortunately pins trees still haven't grown by harvesting them on the dance floor.
If only we could get £1 for each pin we've lost We'b be millionaires by now! Keep practising you French Roll , soon enough you'll get a Hogwards Diploma and PHD in French Rolling Spells! If you need and help with you magic wand leave a comment below and Ill do my best to give you more advices . Have Fun!
