I'm super excited to try this. I've found my 45 minute warm up isn't all that practical before a gig, or even a rehearsal.

This is great, thanks for sharing. I've only been learning the trombone for 4 weeks.

Using this as a daily warm up whilst in lockdown. It gives the feeling of playing with other musicians, so really helps the motivation, than you!

Hi Nick, when I warm up, play at slow tempo or classic small ensemble I have difficulty releasing the air on my initial attack after breathing, do you have recommendations?

Have you tried practicing breath attacks?

@@NickFinzer Absolutely no problems with breath attack, it's when I introduce the tongue that things go wrong.

If your breathe attacks are fine I’d guess your tongue is getting in the way of the air. Think about the breathe attack plus just a little tongue to be the icing on the cake. The tongue shouldn’t be the start of the articulation the air and the tongue have to work together
