Wonderful ! Really well put together, to the point, no flannel, entertaining and informative. Good to hear a truly great British accent. I like what you did.

Thanks very much. Comments like yours are a pleasure to read. We always say it how it is without any fakery. If it's good enough for us, it gets filmed. If it's not...then consider it forgotten. Thanks very much for watching 🙂

Hey Lucy! It wasn't in a bad location overall. I think we would stay again if we went back even though it has what looks like the world's oldest lift! Haha. We're going to be trying a new editing software for 'Destination Unknown' so it may look a little better, but we're all about the rough and ready look showing that nothing is ever perfect, nor do we intend it to be. Much love Lucy! X

Thanks Jason. As with anywhere it can be as cheap or expensive as you want, you've just got to look pretty hard. We didn't film one evening meal that was reasonably priced as the quality and service was appalling, so just showed the best of what we could grab in the most popular places. It's the drinks cost that will have you over a barrel!

Great vlogs new sub here, really enjoying the content. I started taking my daughter on budget holidays as a single mum when she was about 12. We've been to France, Germany, Amsterdam, Belgium, (poland, loads of times) Budapest, Copenhagen, Sweden Lithuania. People can't believe you can do things for so little . When we went to Lithuania I paid £110 for 4 nights in a tiny apartment and that included our return flights . We've stayed in tiny private rooms in hostels. Anybody can travel you just have to prioritise things. :)

Hey Liscatcat! Thanks very much for joining us. You've joined at a great time as we are currently travelling for 6 months on a budget (or trying our best to). We're in Australia at the moment having started in Singapore at the end of November (the new vlogs will be starting soon). Anything is possible if you know when to travel and are happy to spend time hunting online for the best rates (along with taking a hit on accommodation sometimes). We save money abroad by eating and drinking cheap to find the next journey whereas some don't care how much they spend because it's their holiday, which we understand also. Thanks so much for spending time watching us and we hope you'll tune into the upcoming series of travels called 'Destination Unknown'. John & Becky x

Hi 🙌 how are you both? I loved the tour of Rome, I am with Hilary though, not a fan of the business of a main city but no need to as you have done a great job at touring it for us 😂😂 It seemed pretty reasonable price wise for a city, the food looked really GOOD 👍🏽 The historical places are amazing and really interesting, love it 🥰 we are back from Parga now…..😢 We have been to a lot of Greek islands but this harbour town on the mainland is the most beautiful stunning place we have been to…we haven’t taken so many photos before 😅😅😅😅 looking forward to the next trip, love to you both ❤

Glad to hear you had a great time Kezza and it seems one we should add to our list. Rome was interesting but gave us some nasty blisters from all the walking. We wouldn't rush back but it was nice to be there and have a proper tour of what it holds. Our evening meals were of terrible quality so we decided not to film them and just stick to the street food. You'll next see us in Singapore at the end of November or potentially early December depending on the jetlag. Much love back at you lady x

@ParksTravelGuide
Жыл бұрын
Hey Ellie. We went to one near where we were staying but it was that poor quality we decided not to add it into the vlog. It was difficult to find something mid range but stay away from the ones by the tourist attractions. One restaurant by the Pantheon was charging €29 for a simple spaghetti pomodoro. The pasta place is a fantastic shout for a late lunch though and after a certain time you get a glass of wine included. Bargain!

If you're expecting a slap up candle lit main course in a restaurant for €4.50 that's 50 metres from the Spanish steps then you're best off rethinking. The vlog is done for those on a budget to which this is fantastic value and quite filling in an expensive city. Thanks for watching!
