This wide to narrow cable shrug is a variation few people know or apply.
Set the cable really wide and then select your weight and walk the cables out. Then lean forward, like a ski jumper leaning over his skis. Not only will you be shrug from wide to narrow but you also alter the plane of motion from perpendicular to angled. And these are two amazing variations you cannot do with DB's or BB's.
And then the cable provides the constant tension throughout the full ROM - with little to no spinal compression, lower lumbar strain, or cervical strain.
