I got it! I had to rewatch again and I noticed what I was doing wrong. Now to figure the fancy grit stitch out

This is the stitch I'm using on an afghan using fine yarn. It is coming out beautifully. I will tke me a while to complete, but I am in love with this stitch. It is so lovely.

The Fancy Grit stitch is also known as the houndstooth stitch. Funny how some stitches have multiple names. Thanks Genda this is beautiful.

I love your stitch patterns so much. I have folders for hat patterns, for baby blanket patterns, for shawl patterns and a special folder for Creative Grandma’s patterns. I have so many I had to put them in a special folder. Thank you for all you do.

Thanks for this tutorial, Glenda. I have just been knitting so far, but I've been interested expanding to the field of crochet. Most crochet stitches look messy to me, but the simple grit stitch looks alright, so I'm going to try it on my next project.

Nancy, the yellow yarn is EXTREMELY Soft it is the Premier Ever soft yarn, it is a thin (4) weight between a 3 and 4 weight, it is so soft

The Yellow was Premier Yarns Ever Soft is so very soft but it is a light 4 weight more like a (3) weight but so nice if you are looking for a very soft yarn.

You should not say this is the end of the repeat after each stitch it is very confusing.
