THREE QUARTER NELSON! Ah it's great to be a wrestler turned Judoka, I've never used this because I never realized this was legal in Judo.

Ever since I have seen this at baku grandslam I have fallen in love with it, I do it in Judo and Bjj, and I love how easy it transfers into the Peruvian Necktie. Btw, is the Peruvian Necktie allowed in Judo?

The turnover is perfect, but I have some problems in the osaekomi, i am not able to get my opponent close to me during it

i think the hands grip is not too strong and can be slipping. gable grip is better.

Yes, I "really" like the technique. And thankyou for showing the vid. But I also really like my training partners and want them to stay fit and healthy ie not end up in a wheelchair!!! So, like the rice bail throw, I might give this technique a wide berth.

It does not hurt them. If done properly, they turn effortlessly and dont get hurt.

I've done this, and have had it done to me. If done correctly, the effort and pain are minimized

+Orlando Mendez Well, I'll show this vid to a couple of my training partners to see if any are game enough for me to try it :)

But.... you can use that same grip for a choke right?

+tricepsish If you leave the hands where they are and throw your leg closest to the head over then yes, it's called the 'peruvian neck tie', if you drive the under arm through then you can transition to the 'darce', but most people use this technique to deter the person from going to their hands and knees, pretty effective either way

+Christopher Oden yeah I know. this is a good alternative either way
