How can I get the output of a logic port, which is either a logic 1 or 0, and use that as an input for a analog circuit?

Use an "open collector" output ..... most digital IC's have "open collector" version (for example the 7406 is an "open collector" version of the 7404 hex inverter)..... with a "pull up" resistor and feed straight into your analog circuit (you can customize both the signal level and impedance by your choice of feed voltage and resistor value) ...... but if your analog circuit is already compatible with the logic levels of your digital IC family then you do NOT need the above and can simply connect your analog input directly to the output pin of your logic port.
