Thanks for the compliments. The 6 inches was removed because it was added to the side panel which had not been added to the measurements. And so if you do not take the 6 inches off and you draft the back, the front plus the side panel, the suit will be weigh bigger than needed.

While making you only make use of the measurements when making the back and used half shoulder measurement for front. Please help
@JK-CLOTHING
6 ай бұрын
1. The 6 inches deducted is what is used for the side panel 2. The 2" and 3" is used to get the back panel shaped So when you've had your back panel, plus the 6 inches on the side panel plus half of the shoulder to shoulder used for the front panel, you'll end up getting your full body circumferences, even with a bit of ease. What I'd pray you do will be to use your own body measurement. Follow the steps as have been instructed. After drafting the back, side and front panels, measure the chests of the 3 panels and add them then compare with the measurements you took earlier. Do same for the waist, and hip and you'd know if it's accurate or not Thanks for the comment

Grateful for your comment and compliments 🙏🏽 To your question 1. You get the from by using the shoulder to shoulder measurement divided by 2 2. You can use same method just that the figures may change because of the measurements. For instance, the 6 inches side panel could be reduced to 5 or 4 or less depending on the size of the client What I advice is to experiment some of these things to come up with best measures that suit you as the designer. Tutorials are meant to give you a fair idea of what something is. The individual designer picks it and sometimes tweaks it to suit a particular need

The 2 and 3 minuses are for the back measurements and the remainder goes to the front pattern. It's like having 20 inches circumference and you decide to take 8 to the back and 12 to the front. It still gives you the 20 inches circumference

Good, but all I can see are inches I don't know the meanings. You making it all seem like it's a constant is it? I wish you would do another video to explain the inches and what they are for.

Thanks for the comment. This is a video that I've explained to the best of my ability. I'd urge you to watch the video once again and specifically, if there's anything you need clarity on, I'd be most happy to explain further Thanks once again ❤️
