Why not use the drain plug instead? I wouldn't drop the oil pain in my car to change the oil?

Mike... my 2001 Sportsman 500 HO was placed on jacks for maintenance and while testing the AWD, I noticed the following:. The RF free spins when the other 3 tires stop. Is this normal operation for the front differential and hubs or do I have a problem? The AWD seems to work fine when riding. Thanks for your help, your videos and I have subscribed.

The 4WD light does come on when I slide the switch but then only one spins. I have had the wheeler on the jack with all the tires off and I tried it in 4 wheel drive, and it didn't work. I took apart the hub and cleaned everything, and then I put everything back and the tire spun, but as soon as I put weight on it it doesn't spin at all!

That rig has something called a Hilliard clutch inside the Hub. I think you're supposed to use the specified oil

Could this be the reason that one of my front tires aren't spinning in AWD or is the armatures? I have heard both, and don't really know which one to try!

Hi, would you be able to tell me the size of the O ring that goes into a 2003 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO carburettor? I am talking about the O ring that goes on the barrel that holds the float needle. I am having problems getting the right size and the right quality O Ring, the ones that are sold on eBay do not last, I am trying to get the Viton Fluorocarbon O rings. Can you please help? Regards, Franco
