@@haifutter4166 One way is to roughly estimate one of your main focal points that you'll actually be drawing. Then that will lead you to the horizon points that will be off the "view pane". Then you can align your object by refining it within that perspective grid that you can lay out around it. Starting with nothing on the page is for practice only, usually. If you're telling a story, the storytelling elements will be the most important thing on the page, so place a rough first, then do what he's showing here.

I have never understood perspective points and horizon lines, and I've bought so many how-to-draw books that go into detail on it Then this guy comes along and explains it in a way that makes sense to me (I still don't fully get it, but I still found it super helpful)
