In this tutorial I'll show how to draw a Cocker Spaniel puppy in pastels. The tips and techniques I share here can be applied to drawing any darker coloured fur. Drawing realistic fur relies on a few factors such as contrast, layering process and pencil technique. Each I discuss in this video. The way we build the layers has a massive impact with how realistic looks which when drawing pet portraits is very important.
