Creating art can be frustrating for people who are beginners. When you draw, there is a process involved that you experience. The more you do it, the more your mind will adapt to the situation. As you recognize patterns in the shapes and composition of details, the similarities will become imprinted and easier to recall. In the beginning, this will not have been acquired and thus people may be uncertain how to proceed, or wary as to what results may come from it. By focusing on the simple act of doing, rather than focusing on the result, you can allow the process to emerge and become more refined in time. Everything start out very rough and sketchy, and through time more connections are discovered that will help make things more refined and clear. You can see this process happening in many things in life besides art.
