-AYO LADIES and GENTLEMEN ,
So here is a drawing tutorial that you guys asked for; I chose to make our "Worldwide Handsome" Jin because his Birthday is coming.
Basically I'm going to show you how i draw kpop idols or
how i draw jin specifically because i've decided to draw him today.
i've used really basic material which you can get anywhere i've used a
0.5 mechanichal pencil,
for shading i like to use an Hb pencil along with 6B and 8B sfor darker shades,
i'm using a simple A5 sketchbook which you can get easily anywhere and a eraser
so the first will be outlining the shape of the face, and it's pretty much
basic as i start from a circle, this doesn/t have to be a perfect circle
it's just a base for the position and the size of the face we are drawing
so since the face is slightly tilted i'll roughly divide the circle fairly
a bit off from the center
now i'll start making the jaw by extending lines from the circle
again this doesn't have to be perfect, just a rough outline which we can
clear up and define more later
okay so now i'll start making a place for eyes which doesn't need to be
halfway in the circle so let's say it's near the line where jaw extension
starts in the circle. also the ears are pretty much in line with the eyes.
i like to draw ears early on in the process because this way you can see the
overall face shape more clearly.
okay so i'll just put some reference lines for the base of the nose and mouth
for later and start drawing the eyes.
now for the accuracy of facial features, it takes alot of trial and error
so it's better if you go keep experimenting and the most important thing is
don't be afraid to try new things or think that it'll ruin your drawing
because eventually you'll learn from practicing and experience.
also this might help you too, personally, i like to keep my drawing at distance
and stare at it hehe
this helps me see my drawing more clearly and helps me with proportions alot
i also like to focus on and observe the shapes of different facial features
it also helps alot.
for the nose what i like to do is that i draw a circle first and then proceed
to draw nostrils around it. this not only gives the nose more realistic look
but it also helps in getting the shape right
for the lips i start with placing the corners and then tracing out the lip shape around it okay so i'll erase the reference lines since i don't need them now. and roughly outline the body which we can define more later
for the hair make sure we have to keep the gravity in mind and the direction
in which the roots will fall.also try to draw more strands this
gives the drawing more realistic look.
now as we are pretty much done with our basic structure i'll just fast forward
the refining process and give my drawing some more details.
one more tip for the shading and drawing in general, don't be too harsh with
lines and try to draw light lines , which are light enough that they don't
really leave a mark after erasing, for shading try to maintain the direction
you're shading in.
okay, so thank you for watching my tutorial i hope this was clear and help you
with your drawing
