I am new to boating and live in Tampa Fl, I find staying inshore until you get used to your boat before going out into deeper water. You learn how to return to the port, anchoring properly, ect.

Really enjoy your videos Carl, being a new boater (my boat is in Cyprus), have learnt a lot from your excellent practical advice. Just wanted to say thanks and look forward to some videos when you get back on the water in beautiful Crete.

WHat a great Idea to have that book for writing down emergency information from the radio. I was thinking he had it to write down things he wanted to recall on a trip or stuff he needs for the boat. I will from now on keep a note book on my boat.

Another great vid. That guy had the right idea. I add a laminated crib sheet right next to my VHF,, idiot's guide if you like. Tell everyone where it is and a quick demo on the radio. Possible lifesaver. Number 1. Mayday Mayday Mayday 2. This Motor boat xyz.... Followed by the rest we all learnt. All the best buddy. Keep up the good work.
