This probably has one of the most realistic pov’s I’ve seen in a while. And great tips for people who are still getting use to driving on the roads and are not use to slightly pushing it and over stepping the fine line between control of the car to losing it and causing an incident. I myself don’t really go fast much unless I know the roads quite well otherwise that’s just asking for a accident to happen.

I'm really glad you talked about tyres and tyre pressures, I'm a mechanic and see some VERY expensive and VERY fast cars runnning either under/overinflated tyres, cheap unpronounceable brand name tyres or tyres that are so worn we don't recommend they continue driving the car. People don't seem to understand that the 1-2 tonne hunk of metal you're driving down the road is being connected to the earth by thin rubber circles filled with air. Put some decent rubber on your car, it can actually save your life! They pay for themselves if you aren't paying the insurance excess because you've avoided an accident you would have had with rubbish tyres.

in cologne germany there are some very very wide 4 lane streets. on some parts wider than the autobahn. if there is very low traffic im going up to 120kmh there. Everyone would hate me knew im going this fast throught the city but the infrastructur is absolutly capable of these speeds without any risk. of course there is a risk but its there also if im going 50. You go around blind corners with no thought of pedestrian's or animals being on the blind corner. You increase your visibility to the point that you're certain there's no cars coming around the corner (which is good) but you disregard any pedestrians, cyclist, animals etc. that are already on the blind corner You aren't an IRV driver with loud sirens making potential pedestrians aware. Chill out on those country roads
@SamWall
2 ай бұрын
@@Spray_UK Cheers for watching! Completely get your point, but going into that corner I was doing 27 with foot already on brake pedal FOV on the camera really skews perception of speed The cars tested to do 30-0 in about 8m, doubling that to include reaction time is still shorter than the distance between the corner opening up, and heading straight at the fence measuring on google maps Obviously wet weather would completely change everything and it would be a harsh stop, but it also wasn’t hugely risky having checked the mirrors. Either way will definitely keep in mind
