good tip is to bungee the callipers up to the brake lever, it keeps them well away from the wheel so no damage to the wheel 👍

Why you must to remove the front wheel ? It is not possible to extract the brake pads? What's the torque for the front axle nut? Thanks

Torque 60nm mate. You can change brake pads without removing the wheel. I did it for the ones that want to replace a tire to know how. Thanks for watching mate😉👍

You forgot to loosen pinch bolts before the final tightening of the Axle nut. Aren’t you supposed to loosen those first, torque the nut, then torque the pinch bolts? Or am I missing something?????
@con404
Жыл бұрын
Not sure if I got you right but how can you tight the nut with loosen pinch bolts.
@bmaksymiw
3 ай бұрын
After aligning forks, you tightened the non-captive side pinch bolts. The axle won't spin with those tightened. He is asking if you should now loosen the captive side(nut side) pinch bolts before tightening the nut, and then retighten the pinch bolts on the nut side after the nut is tight.@@con404

Why are you wasting time wiggling the stand? That does nothing but possibly break the stand sooner. You need to remove the front stand and push down on the triple clamp to compress the suspension for a better alignment of the pads and calipers.
