@@StahlRacing Kacy, what wheels do you find are the best overall. Whether you own them or not. What would you consider a must have set in your pit box?

Great question! It really kinda depends on the kart. For my Birel AM29, I mostly run the stock mag wheels, but I dabble with an AMV set that are pretty interesting. They make the tire sit more on top of the track. For something like the Eagle, spun aluminum is the ticket. But to really answer your question, my wheel of choice is the stock Birel for most situations, but when it's a hot grippy track, my favorite is the AMV wheels

@@StahlRacing Which version of the AMV do you prefer. They have so many mag wheels. I see the 3f I think seems popular. I was thinking of getting those, but maybe the 6 or 9's or maybe the lynx or even tiger are better.

The 3f is what we use, and they are great! Never tried the others though

Great video for us noobies. I’ll have to look into those tools, they look like they make it much easier. I’ve been using a bearing press to break the bead and tire spoons and it’s quite a wrestling match.

The bead breaker and tire scissors make a big difference! Here's a link to some good tire scissors: lawsonspeedshop.com/products/economy-5-tire-mounting-dismounting-scissor-tool?_pos=1&_sid=05c2253b8&_ss=r

Great video, I have a onewheel with an aluminium rim, do you know if you can add something to the scisor tool that would not scratch the rim?

I'm not aware of anything that exists to avoid scratching the wheels. Thats a good idea for someone to create though!

You using 6 or 7.1 inch tires on the 210mm wheels?

Our MG Reds are 7.1, and we also run the Vega Red 6 on 210 as well to get rid of some of the grip

I followed this video and was able to change my first go kart tire. I have no plans to ever change a go kart tire again, but if I do I will use this video. Also the guy in the video is super hot and I’m wondering if he is single?

I'm glad this video could help you, but you'll need to look elsewhere for love. The hottie in the video is happily married to a smoke show that is way out of his league
