Oh wow, I haven't had those in decades! I made a pie using a pumpkin pie recipe as a template.

Having never had persimmons before, I literally picked a couple of them off the ground last week and...😍🥰🤩 I happily had sticky fingers afterwards! 😋😋😋😁

My grandma and I used to pick these guys up off the ground and eat them until we got sick. One of my favorite fruits and they're really abundant in my area 🥰

I got a bunch from a local farm and they remind me of the caramel apple pops we used to get on Halloween... except sooo much better.

I grew up with these on my land. We set up nets under the trees and would get loads of them to make persimmon pudding for the family and friend. Deer love them too.

These were always on the ground at this lake I lived at, and I never knew they would be edible. The tree isn't in the water, but it is polluted. I'm glad I didn't try it.

I might like it better with slight bitterness. I'm a little sensitive to sugar and one bite was too much. I might dilute mine in plain yogurt or something.

I have run over and past these one one of my local runs for over a year. I didn't know what they were but there are always a TON of bugs flying around that tree and loads of them on the ground all ripe and squished. Too bad the ground is paved. :-( Maybe I will plant a tree in my own yard and fight the rabbits, birds, and squirrels for my share! :-)
