This man’s wisdom is way way way superior to anyone I have met and watched on KZitem. He is obviously very smart… I think like him, what’s so wonderful about having children?

I think it is an achievement to raise up good children, well educated with good ethiques. Children who would make the world a better place. We are not animals, we are human beings with ethical roules.

It’s an achievement for lay people’s pov. Ie We want to have involvement in our lives to make it meaningful - having a spouse, children. Hopefully, they are good as we impart good ethics to them and not cause trouble as they grow up and meet new people based on their karma. If you understand Rinpoche’s pov, it’s definitely not an achievement. life is too short to go through such things when we can try to involve life in a much different manner without going through societal norm. Usually in a case of Rinpoche, it’ll be for an altruistic cause. He’s using his body for his altruistic reasons ie Dharma. There are actually tons of existing issues / problems of people that were unresolved but still, they start a family. (With all due respect there is nothing wrong with this, but to Rinpoche’s POV is definitely a waste of time living in samsara karmic cycle all over) lol 😂

Does ethical role entails trying to proselytise natives of farflung nations, destroy their way of life, their social system just because they are different from you.

@@AppleliciousStory I would not judge in this general way. A lot of lay people reached enlightment, therefore there is nothing wrong living a live as a lay person or a yogi. The existence of a monk is not the answer for all people, that should not be forgotten.
@AppleliciousStory

@@holgerdanske3960 in that comment that I made is not trying to say becoming a monk/nun is the way. Achievement is subjective to what you value. In this case, we are talking about enlightenment. But I have to say, if you live as a Lay Person, you can definitely achieve enlightenment easier if you let go of many things in life; ie wealth, wanting to become married and have kids. If you have kids, you’ll be too busy taking care of them, than trying to be free of samsaric cycle and helping other sentient beings. Coz your energy would be on your kids and making enough money to raise them. And I have to highlight again, Not wrong. To Rinpoche, what he value most is sentient beings. he wants us to become a better human being. Plus he has animal sanctuaries and all that sort of noble stuff we lay people do not do. If he is married and has children, I don’t think this is possible unless his children are all grown up and when he’s in his 50s or 60s. And then again, he passed away in 2019. He should be in his 50s. Death is certain. Timing of Death is uncertain.

To be beneficent when we can is a duty; and besides this, there are many minds so sympathetically constituted that, without any other motive of vanity or self-interest, they find a pleasure in spreading joy around them and can take delight in the satisfaction of others so far as it is their own work. But I maintain that in such a case an action of this kind, however proper, however amiable it may be, has nevertheless no true moral worth, but is on a level with other inclinations, e.g., the inclination to honour, which, if it is happily directed to that which is in fact of public utility and accordant with duty and consequently honourable, deserves praise and encouragement, but not esteem! With the greatest respect, can I suggest that including ‘attack karma’ in the title of this wonderful video will make the born English speaker misunderstand karma. As HE KT Rinpoche explains, karma is just a fact, just like gravity - a law of nature. ‘..attack karma..’ implies, karma makes judgements. Gasho🙏🏻

Hi វាសនា ចៅចិត្រ, Prayers for H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche's swift return have been composed and are available here: www.tsemtulku.com/swift-return We encourage everyone to engage in these prayers as often as possible, not only to create the causes for Rinpoche's swift return but also to create a connection with Rinpoche, so that we may directly meet with Rinpoche's incarnation and continue to learn and practise under him. Thank you

How powerful a guru is how much you listen to him. Entering the religion to the reason: change our mind. Accepting the problems and Practice more Dharma. How you react to the problems show the level of the Practice.When the Practice not strong and genuine,it is hard to react positively.

0:00 'How to Effectively Attack Karma' - There is ONLY one way to 'take down' your bad karma. You have to apply THE FOUR OPPONENT POWERS. If you apply them with great faith; the karma is 100% purified. You can use THE FOUR OPPONENT POWERS without the religious elements if you are not religious. The sadhana would have to be altered but they will still work.
