Here are some of the most important concepts:
1) Make sure opponent is low on hips, if they are on chest you need to shoulder walk them down to hips first
2) Cross grip the wrist (Prevents posting hand)
3) Same side grip to elbow (Prevents posting elbow)
4) Trap foot (Prevents posting with foot)
5) Move head out the way (prevents posting with far hand and head and ensures opponent goes over )
6) Bridge them with your hips in a 45 degree angle over the point where the neck and shoulder meet , not straight up and definitely not to the side as this is going into the path of resistance
7) Relax shoulder and turn over it into the top position
You've Now Escaped The Mount.
