Nepal happened to be my first international trip. Ibstead of taking a bus or a flight to Kathmandu from India, I changed 3 modes of transportation and reached Pokhara. Pokhara is the second largest city in Nepal after Kathmandu.
Found a hostel near Phewa and ended up staying in Pokhara for a week 😆😁
Would always end up strolling near the Lake. On good visible days, t Annapurna range and Machapuchare are visible from Pokhara. I mean can you imagine that. Sitting at 1,000m altitude and seing 8,000 metre s mountain range was a treat.
Pokhara does not have a bustling night life like Kathmandu. But there is Busy Bee in the Pokhara city and that place is open till 4 A.M (party people, are you listening? 😉)
Pokhara is a melting pot of cultures and the vareity of cuisines available are wide and interesting. I tried some local Nepali food on this trip and fell in love with it
