Thanks for all of the tutorials you've made. I finished my masters thesis last week about software architecture for sensor data and GIS. A lot of the Leaflet programming you showed was a massive inspiration and help in learning to work with the library!

@@gissolutions4604 No probs, u earned it. Being a bit cheeky..... do u know a desk top software that will rename the file so my Garmin Oregon 600 will accept it. I can't just stick it on the gps or the sd card as it only recognises the map already on there. A new map file has to be Properly renamed I used to do it years ago but have forgotten the freeware software used. Regards.

Thank you @GIS Solutions for sharing the tutorial. Can you make a video about adding a heat map or contour map on top of the leaflet map? And can those maps adapt when you zoom in and out? I don’t know which file format should the maps be, csv or geoJSON or something else.

Thanks for the feedback. I created a video not too long ago regarding Leaflet Heatmap, check it out - kzitem.info/news/bejne/zpiI4GqDjah1e6A

Thanks for this great video, I have downloaded my road data, I just want to add road length and speed limit to each road. How can I do this ?

I found that I can calculate the length using Calculate Geometry in arcGIS. But I would like to know how I can set a speed limit (based on the road type, i.e: highway, footway..)?

Thank you for the feedback. I haven't used this, but apparently there's a site called OpenStreetBrowser in which you can obtain speed limits for roads. Again, I've never used this and not sure the accuracy of the data or the completeness of it, but you can access it through this link - www.openstreetbrowser.org/ Once you open the site, on the left hand side, click on Transportation>Individual Traffic>Maxspeed. At the top of the left hand side, you can Download the data within the view. Let me know how it goes?
