You have to check the ingredients, I tried this with kellogs corn flakes, and it didn't work. I looked at the ingredients, and it listed ferric phosphate. You need to find one with "reduced iron" or something similar.

I love the shirt! I wonder if you could enhance these awesome videos with a script that allows space for musical sections (during the fast forward sections maybe?) You explain the process very well and it’s replicable, but I think many people don’t actually end up doing the experiment (like watching video game playthroughs) and drawing the video out with a script that takes it to 7-8 minutes would be totally fine!!

Ah, interesting! So are you saying you wouldn't mind the video being longer if you could get better/more visuals of the reaction (overlaid with music or something)?

Fun fact: There's a difference between structural iron and biological iron. Structural iron (a metal) is added to cereal for marketing purposes and does nothing for you at all. This is forbidden in some countries but not the U.S.A. Biological iron which is totally absent from cereal is the one that is beneficial for you. This experiment actually shows you how horrible some brands of cereal are.

can we stop toting up Amazon for products we might need if we want to do these experiments at home? Amazon didn't give AF about their warehouse workers during this Pandemic. let's buy from actual businesses directly instead. I'm sure there are plenty of rare earth online sellers that have websites. I've bought from some for miniature model making.
