Your video came just on time for me. I am struggling with a horrendous burn after (don’t laugh at me) a drop of oregano essential oil. I simply wanted to dap over two-three spots on my left cheek that appeared as a result of driving my car (the sun is so strong where I live that no sunscreen helps, no matter I use 50+ all spectrum sunscreen). The oil was so strong that as a result I wake up with reddish brown cheek. I had to take antibiotic too as it was II degree burn. The moment the wound was completely closed I stared using 24/7 silicone sheets. Between my skin and the sheet I apply Cucatricure gel to fight scars. There are two days in a row now and the effect is more than desired. I realize the struggle will be prolonged but hopefully in a couple of months I will finally see my cheek as it used to be. I plan to visit a dermatologist in the autumn as all procedures must be done after summertime. Besides, till then I hope my skin to be fully matured.

Ouch! I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this! I’ve burned my skin using products that I’d used before without any issues, so I get how frustrating it can be when something doesn’t go as planned. Sounds like you’re on the right path now, wishing you a speedy recovery ❤️❤️

@@Chemeckia thank you so much for your support! It means a lot. I guess my skin became thinner with the years. Retinol products I have been using for years also made me a bad favour. If I add to the list obviously my super rare reaction to this very essential oil, et voilà I ended up exactly where I am now. Hopefully, up to 6 months everything will be fine. I've read lots of medical information and I've seen lots of burns in the last two-three weeks, so overall I am positive that with the proper care and products there will be happening afterwards. But it was (and still is) one of the top 3 bad experiences in my life ever, I can swear. Because I've watched your video carefully, I'd like to humbly advise you to be careful with all derivatives of vitamin A (retinol, tretinoin etc) as they really make the skin super thin, which is definitely harmful to the skin. Moreover, estrogen level decreases with the years, which makes the skin both more dry and sensitive. Based on my bad experience, always be careful with those natural products as essential oils, in case you wanna use them. It is good idea to blend a specific oil with almond, coconut, jojoba or similar oils, in order to prevent burns or strong allergy reaction, while at the same time all benefits of the oil work for you. Well, c'est la vie. Best wishes! 🥰

Hi, please don't laugh at me as I know what I did is something so stupid. I used glycolic acid 6, and retinol moisturizer alternatively for a few months and I went through the purging phase. It didn't seem to work so, I've stopped using them and it's been a month but I still had acne on the sides close to the ears and chin. Moreover I had dark lip corners. Someone told me to change my paste to sls free which I did and it kinda helped but the darkness just didn't go away. I even used vitamin B12, D, Iron because I'm low on it. The acne was so bothering that finally I've used warts / mole removal pen on them as I've seen many videos on YT regarding. I naturally let them heal without plucking off the flakes after, to prevent marks but the marks still formed and I even did the same thing on the corner of my lips thinking if I burn the skin there, new one will form but naaah, it's darker than before. 😭 I know I was crazy. I'm currently using niacinamide (been a week) and the burn thing happened three weeks back. I just can't go out without makeup now and it's such a work. Will this tape help ? Because I ordered it for the acne marks and the pigmentation mark near the lips. How do I use it for them ? Put them on and let it be there for days ?

Sounds like you’ve been through a lot and I feel your pain 😭. I suggest doing your normal skincare routine as soon as you can remove your makeup each day, apply the niacinamide, then put the patches on. The patches will definitely speed up the healing process and help with hyperpigmentation. Leave them on for as long as you can, or until you need to apply makeup again. I personally think you get more benefit if you can leave the patches on for as long as possible because this let’s the skin do it’s own natural healing process without interruption.

I have a white pinkish scar on my top lip from a wound my lips are brown so I don't need a lightened lip, I need my lip darker back to it's natural color. Does it help with that?
@Chemeckia

Yes! It should absolutely help with this. Keeping the scar shielded will help the area heal faster and return to the normal color.

Will this work well on men’s skin?

Yep! It will work but you may have a harder time getting the silicone sheet to stick if the area has a lot of hair. You could put a traditional bandaid over it to secure it, or put surgical tape over the top.

have you tried it on old pimple scars. I have some that have stayed for over a year.

Yes! The sheets definitely help on old hyperpigmentation spots. The more you commit to wearing them for as much time as possible, the more the spots fade. Blocking the spots from the sun during the day and protecting them from friction while you sleep adds up.

Hi! I don’t think makeup would stick to the type of patch that I’m using in this video but it might stick to the clear patches made by companies like Peace Out. I’m wearing a Peace Out pimple patch in this video and you can barely tell in my opinion kzitem.infoAfMEMEPEUrE?feature=share Peace Out also sells hyperpigmentation patches and I have a 20% discount code in the pinned comment of this video kzitem.infowxOAW-zeFbI?si=_qhlo21csB9E1bCu Hope this helps!
