Appreciate video content! Apologies for the intrusion, I am interested in your opinion. Have you considered - Panaylee Renowned Prepotence (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a great one of a kind product for finding luxury or designer goods at wholesale or lower prices without the headache. Ive heard some super things about it and my work colleague at very last got amazing success with it.

I don't work with companies that have bad policies or are just not a good supplier. I look at website, products and prices. From there you can see if the items sell and if they are profitable. Next look at their policies regarding shippings, returns, damaged items etc.

With so many courses gurus out there one quick question why not manufacturers get direct relationship with Amazon. Is there a calculated risk of this occurrence and /or is this just part of the protocol of the program?
@Noah_Mincis
4 жыл бұрын
Some do. They can use vendor central and sell directly to Amazon. Some manufacturers choose to sell to third party retailers to sell their items because they don't have the time or infrastructure to sell on every site. Others just sell to distributors and don't sell to consumers themselves.

Hey Noah, I was curious about copyright right items. I am applying for reselling Funko Pop. But isn't this stuff copyrighted? Or if I sell Disney or Marval items? Also I was curious in your other videos how you talk about suppliers like Essendant. I was applying to them and saw in there website somewhere that they won't sell to a business operating out of there residence. I was wondering if you got around this or if you are not operating from home. Thanks for any feedback.
@Noah_Mincis
3 жыл бұрын
You would not need a license nor would you need copyright rights in order to sell these products. The goal is to be buying from authorized distributors. When you buy from distributors the distributors have the rights and they have the go ahead from the brands to allow retailers to resell those products. You are reselling authentic items you are going to have invoices you’re gonna have documents from your distributors and from your legitimate suppliers proving that your items are legitimate and that you got them from a legitimate source. In order to work with some wholesale suppliers you will need a commercial address. One way that I’ve gotten around it is by using my prep center as my business address but I also have access to a commercial address through a business partner.

Hey great video! Now do you need the brands permission to sell while asking for distributors? And will this strategy work with company's such as Microsoft, sony, Nike etc?
@Noah_Mincis
4 жыл бұрын
You do not need the direct consent of the brand. If you buy from a "legitimate" supplier then you are effectively getting permission from the brand. They leave it up the wholesale company to distribute their items to retailers. Yes, this works for most brands.

I don't really stay away from a brand unless It doesn't sell or it has a history of IP complaints. Toys is a competitive market so make sure to check and research a product thoroughly before buying. I try and buy items that my wholesalers have deals on to lower my cost.

You can do that. Some suppliers I work with ask for my amazon storefront. Others will monitor their listings or have a software/ third party monitor the listings for other sellers if they don't wan't other sellers. Work with your suppliers and personally, I let mine know I sell on Amazon and I ask if there is a problem with me selling on Amazon just to make sure there isn't an issue.

First, I would like to mention that you can always change what type of entity you form and you can use a dba or change your business name. I started out as a sole proprietor and then switched to an LLC. You can choose a generic name or if you would like to focus in a specific industry you can choose a name that is relevant to that niche. (This can always be changed although it does take time to change.)

Depends which wholesaler. For the minimum, you will need an EIN and perhaps to be a sole prop to be sales tax exempt.

Before creating an account with a wholesaler, wouldn't you have obtain a letter from them where they state that they give you permission to resell their products? Also, to get ungated with Amazon for any given product, do you have to buy some of those products from the supplier first, or can you get ungated with Amazon without buying any of the supplier's products first, maybe by presenting Amazon with a letter from the supplier giving you permission to resell their products?
@Noah_Mincis
4 жыл бұрын
Depends on the supplier and the type or company. If you work with a brand directly they might have you sign an agreement where they give you permission to represent their brand. Most wholesalers and distributors just have you fill out the application, sign and agree to their policies and that's it. You need to buy the products first. I have heard people create a mock invoice or purchase on consignment but I always purchase in advance.

It can but ultimately, having a registered business and the documents they ask for will allow you to open up way more accounts.
