Thank you Dear for This tutorial I have already ftir chart not Data My question by This software can i find the peaks and belong to possible function groups ? Second question can i modify the chart like make peak more sharp or add new missing peaks ? Thanks
@SAYPhysics
2 ай бұрын
Thanks for the appreciation dear. No dear, it's just a plotting and analysis software whi chbhas no database behind it. So, there's no possibility to assign a functional group. The only thing you can do is to write a functional group on a peak you already know. Further, you can't add or remove a peak. Thanks

Thank you for your video, just wondered if there is any way of finding the errors on these peak values?
@SAYPhysics

You're welcome dear. As the peaks locations are very accurate, I don't know what do you mean by finding error. Can you elaborate it? Thanks
@jalaaldous3511

@SAYPhysics hi thanks for your quick reply! For a lab experiment we are supposed to plot the peak value against something else and we've been told to do error analysis on this. So I was wondering if there was a way of finding the errors here (as when you fit a Gaussian, that gives standard errors for the Gaussians peaks). But if there isn't a specific error given we will put half the smallest increment in.
@SAYPhysics

Certainly! You can perform error analysis on the peak values by considering the standard errors obtained from fitting a Gaussian. If the software provides this information, it can be valuable for your lab experiment. Alternatively, as a practical approach, using half the smallest increment is a reasonable method for error estimation when specific values aren't available. Thanks

That was really helpful thank you! And one question more! How can I find peaks for all 3 plots that I have in one graph?? Every time I try to find the peaks for other plots, origin just find for one of the plots!!!! I have no idea what to do :(((
@SAYPhysics
3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the appreciation. You'll have to find peaks on the individual graphs and then merge into one. On the merged graph you can't do for all as the baseline subtraction id different for each figure. Thanks

@@SAYPhysics I appreciate your reply I didn't get my question. In fast fourier transform(FFT) there is imaginary and real part from the theory the phase shift is tan inverse of imaginary/real(phase angle= atan(imaginary/real) but my calculation and the origin result are not the same if you not known how to claculate the phase angle please inform me someone experts by this software how to calculate the pohase angle, thanks.
