Thanks for the work you put into this! Woobie shoes started as an American made shoe but I think they outsourced to Spain. Also, I think GORUCK makes their ballistic trainers in America

I recently emailed woobie, they moved manufacturing to Italy "for the time being" And their first priority is to move it back to America asap. They told me to watch my email for them to announce that they have moved manufacturering back to USA

New Balance Makes the 990 collections in the USA!!! I sell them & the only significant part of that series that is imported are the EVA Midsoles which is the only option in volume! They are currently more than doubling the capacity of their factory in Skowhegan, ME USA! They are also building a completely new factory in Londonderry, NH USA & are spending $72 million on it, so to include them with Brooks & especially Sketcher’s (Which is Sketchy!🤪) is misguided. Are most of the shoes by New Balance people will se in local stores made in Vietnam etc. ? yes, but they still make more footwear in the USA than anyone, but maybe SAS? When completed NB will have 6 factories in the USA, and 1 in England, so they are not your typical “Corporate” of shoring company. All of these other companies sell direct to the customer for the most part, and that is the competitive advantage. Cut the cost in 1/2! Having said all that I admire and appreciate all those companies and wear mostly SAS because they make narrow shoes. 😎

opie way are amazing shoes. i live in NC so I was happy to support them, plus it's hard to find handmade leather shoes that aren't imported. I'd also recommend Raleigh Denim jeans to pair with them. It's another small company located in NC that make all their raw denim by hand. Again, pricey but worth it and you're supporting local labor instead of the forced child labor many of the bigger name-brand companies engage in *cough* nike *cough*

I still like to read the "about us" on these US shoe companies to make sure I'm supporting a company that's not donating to causes I don't agree wiith.

I have kind of a two-part question I'm a big fan of Keen shoes but they keep changing the models and they're not as functional as they used to be and I know they're made overseas but is there any similar King type brand that is steel toe or composite toe work shoe or work boots that's not some crazy heavy duty every time you look at us made work boots they're straight up concrete worker construction worker badass huge combat boot LOL I need something that's in between that little bit of breathability you know these kings are perfect balance for what I do I just wish they were made in the US and for the price that they charge for them now I might as well find a US made shoe I tend to use high tops Vibram soles composite toe summertime and then they're 6-in boots or high top boots during the winter time steel toe that are waterproof but I just having a hell of a time finding Replacements that are the same quality that aren't $500 and free times is large if that makes sense LOL

If only the no structure barefoot sort of shoe was a good option for me. 😢 I need a walking shoe for long walks on pavement that can support an orthotic insert since I have flexible flat feet. If barefoot was an option, I would just go barefoot.
