Please don´t recommend the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator aka 16 Personalities or MBTI test! It´s widely regarded as pseudoscience and completely pointless. Katharine Cook Briggs und Isabel Myers had no psychological expertise. It´s not a scienticically valid test and likely produces a different outcome everytime you take the test (unless maybe if you do them right after each other). Rather do a Big Five personality test. Those have been scientifically verified and are not pseudoscience like the MBTI!

As a guy who has dealt with depression and A.D.D. it can often be very hard to find your niche. Clark's simplistic questions truly shed a lot of light on possibilities and created more optimism. Very easy to understand and put into motion.

I’ve been on a self improvement journey the last year or so. Hit bottom, had a rude awakening. Audiobooks, podcasts, and channels like yours are the only things that keeps my attention nowadays. This journey consumes me now, benefits my 7yr old son as I have made huge strides in this time. Down 50lbs in 5 months. 34 and healthier than I’ve been since a teen. Facing myself, the tough internal dialogues it took were not easy. If someone else is on this journey too and needs a sign to keep pushing, use me. I will tell you I was worse off than most and shouldn’t even be alive, but I am. For a purpose now… I am improving myself as a man, so I can RAISE/CREATE a better man than myself for the world to be blessed with! Thank you for what you do.

I am ENFJ too! ENFJs are born leaders, which explains why these personalities can be found among many notable politicians, coaches, and teachers. Their passion and charisma allow them to inspire others not just in their careers but in every arena of their lives, including their relationships. Few things bring people with the ENFJ personality type a deeper sense of joy and fulfillment than guiding friends and loved ones to grow into their best selves.

The first thing I thought of when you asked "when do you come alive" was seeing people do incredible things...so silly...like shows where the underdog comes out and sings something incredible on the voice 😅 or the petite woman conquering the Americam Ninja Warrior obstacle course...people breaking records and hearing the story of how they got there. Basically witnessing people beat the odds. I root for the unserdog. How on earth do I integrate that into a life path!? I'm a freakin Hairstylist

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is pseudoscientific at best. Make a Big Five personality test instead, those are rooted in science and developed by people who were actually educated in psychology in contrast to Myers and Briggs who just "read a book about C.G.Jung" and wrote erotic fiction about him.

Nice set of questions, but to most I really don't have an answer. Not even after 54 years of living. I did do the MBTI test again, just for fun. And this time the INFP pop-up. In my life I have been several different ones. The I is usually there but also sometimes a 50/50 score. Same goes for the N. In the past I usually ended with TJ, and now FP. Which is funny, as I am going thru a more intuitive and feeling phase of my life. But the INFP does also shows my lack of direction. Again something that is also showing from my Human Design, and other tests I did. Guess some people just don't have a purpose.

I was once in some awful online therapy, talking to someone who didn't understand that I couldn't find any enjoyment in anything. What do you enjoy doing? What do you want to do? The idiot typing at me couldn't understand that I didn't enjoy anything. She then changed the question. What did you used to enjoy? I couldn't think of anything for months but it was the one question she asked I couldn't really answer, and I thought there must be an answer. Eventually I wrote down 'watching live music'. I hadn't been out in the evenings for years, I'd had operations, physical pain, mental pain and had no inclination to do anything. So a couple of years later with only that one idea of something I might enjoy, I bought, on the spur of the moment a ticket for one of my favourite bands from my teenage years who I had never seen. I went alone, having lost many friends over the years but I loved it. Ended up on a spending spree of gigs but it got me out of the house and thinking about things that interest me...theatre, cinema, book signings, city walking tours. Anyway, my point is that it's hard and it takes time but it also takes effort. Keep thinking about these questions, write down anything and everything until you find that thing that you do love. Don't give up the search. The fact that you watch videos like this means you're open to change, but the first thing to do is get out there, do something. Even if you don't feel like playing the guitar, start small and take it out of the case. It sounds stupid and obvious but nothing will happen unless you do something. I wish you all the best and good luck with finding what you want.

@bradparker9664 I totally understand because I've been there. I well remember the desperation I felt at that juncture. It took me a long time to realize there was no combination of pills that would help. But that doesn't mean I've given up on myself. Individual counseling and cognitive-behavioral therapy were helpful. I'm still on the quest to find alternative means to manage my condition. Love yourself where you are right now in your journey, including the good, bad, and ugly. Don't judge yourself using other people's rulers. Most importantly, don't give on yourself. Much love to you, fellow traveler.

Maybe a good place to start is to observe what make you hate working with people; perhaps it's just our thoughts, expectations, and opinions about people or fear of them judging us? All these things can be worked out to allow one's gift of teaching to shine. Designing and art are fantastic skills, and maybe exercising and physical fitness can support the required number of sitting hours.
@CannaWine

I agree, first step is to observe one's thought & ask observational questions. Perhaps you can develop strategy to how you can grapple with the discomforts within our skills. Ex: I love talking. I hate writing. I adopted Journaling as a way to refine my speaking skills & clarify thoughts. Now, i enjoy writing (still love speaking over writing)
