And that's how to do a fishing video. Great job on explaining how to use a jig. Hope you make videos of other artificials. Awesome stuff.

BWS27, thanks I’m glad you enjoyed the video, and thanks for joining the channel. I will be pushing out more videos, such as crankbait fishing later today.

I fish 4 or 6 pound floro. I just don't wrench them in. Let's me cast super far with small lures. But I also fish it on a medium light so there's also play in the rod.

I just picked up an Ozark Trail 2000 size reel. It’s grey and black, 5BB with anti-reverse BB. It definitely different from the 3000. It feels much more solid / a little heavier. I would check it out. I’ll be using it tomorrow morning for the first time. I’ll let you know what I think.

@@bluecollaroutdoors5556 I just caught a 3ft gar on it this morning. Held up nicely. It’s a heavy reel but I like it a lot so far.

Love the diversity. Do the jigs work better in colder weather or mid to late summer?

In my opinion I would say Ned rigs, tubes, jigs pretty much all catch smallmouth year round on a consistent basis. When it comes to largemouth the jig really shines because you can fish it in any water temperature and it works great. If I had one bait all year for largemouth it would definitely be a big jig.
