Just goes to show that the new Warts will catch them. The old ones are nice to collect, and to use some of them, but I know a lot of guys that think that you have to use the pre Rapala Warts or you just won't catch any, but that just ain't so.

Supposedly the old warts hunt better. Doesn’t mean the new ones won’t catch fish though.

@@timg185 it's how the old ones were constructed. When they were put together the majority of these pre Rapala wiggle warts had a wide erratic wobble which made these really effective for bass and walleye. I have my share of both.

Becareful too many graphs on Tablerock will cause Randy to crane kick them off your boat.

Fish a wart with 8 gear ratio. You’re not feeling anything

I likebthe warts but since I was turned onto the spro rck crawler 55 I really havent touched my warts . I can cast the crawler further. And I feel like it hunts better. Both great . But I think the crawler has just a bit more hunting in its action.

Try Predator Baits. They're 2.50ish for a blank. Supposedly they're as close as you can get. Milliken (I'm positive I spelled that incorrectly) did a pool "test" with a bunch of crankbaits showing the differences. And these one were as close to the pre-raps as you can get without them being one.

I use them on lake Michigan trolling for coho salmon in the spring. Mag warts catch the brown trout on a flat line. Versatile lure

That's awesome. Sounds like they're a player for salmonids in certain places on the Columbia River too.

Amazing how bright the snap, rings and hooks are 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️. Wonder? Is it a positive or negative to the fish. Never though about it in the stained water of Oklahoma. But to see in in clear water 😮..

I truly believe the Johnny Morris Platinum Signature Series reel is one of the most underrated reels out there. LOVE mine! Cast a mile and never backlashes no matter what size plug I'm throwing. I just wish the made more gear ratios! 🤦♂️

@@rayfernandez5949 nah.. not real bad. I think they're $189 or $199 tops but I wanna say they were $169 at one point. Scratch that. Just checked and apparently now they're $229 online

Change colors much faster! Also, a snap gives you something more reliable to tie to.
